LEGISLATIVE ACTUALITY
The applicable Tax Code, but also the New Tax Code were amended in November.
Likewise, during the same period, any normative acts were also amended, such as the Government Emergency Ordinance no. 28/1999 on the obligation of economic operators to use electronic tax cash registers, Law no. 297/2004 regarding capital market, the Regulation of organization and functioning of the Superior Council of Magistracy.
DECISIONS OF THE HIGH COURT OF CASSATION AND JUSTICE

As regards the activity of the High Court of Cassation and Justice, in November 2015, many referrals in the interests of the law were published in the Official Journal regarding the provisions of the Criminal Code, Code of criminal procedure, Labour Code and Law no. 263/2010 regarding the unitary public pension system.

Several decisions ruled for clarifying certain legal issues were published in the Official Journal of Romania in relation to Law no. 303/2004 on the status of judges and prosecutors, Law no. 194/2011 on countering the operations with products susceptible of having psychoactive effects, the Government Decision no. 507/2014 for updating the value of rents related to retrocede estates and intended to certain public interest destinations.
DECISIONS OF THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT OF ROMANIA
As a result of the activity carried out by the Constitutional Court, several decisions were published (constitutional challenges admitted) regarding art. 341 (“Settlement of the claim by the preliminary chamber judge”) paragraph (6) letter c) and paragraph (7) item 2 letter d), art. 347 (“Challenge”) paragraph (1), art. 440 (“Admissibility in principle”) paragraph (2) Code of criminal procedure; art. 301 (“Conflict of interests”) paragraph (1) and art. 308 (“Corruption offences and misfeasance in office committed by third parties”) paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code.
